By joining your lives in marriage or civil union, you're acknowledging and honoring the commitment you've made to each other and letting your friends and family know how special and important this relationship is in your life. The words you choose for your ceremony will tell people what this awesome partnership means to you. Your ceremony should reflect who you are, what you believe and where your love will take the two of you as you build your life together.
One of the most important decisions you'll make as a couple when planning your wedding or civil union ceremony is choosing the "right" officiant. At a minimum, you want someone who respects your relationship and listens to you. Someone who understands your needs and wishes, and incorporates them into your ceremony. As your officiant, I promise all this and more. Here's what you can expect from me: trust, empathy, compassion, creativity, warmth, humor and friendship.
I am confident that after you've read my personal beliefs and looked at the process, samples and other sections of this site, you'll agree that I am the "right" officiant. As a non-denominational reverend, I am open to all faiths, beliefs, cultures and traditions. It would be a privilege for me to officiate your wedding or civil union and work with you to create a personal and memorable ceremony that truly reflects you and your love for each other.
