Fun facts!

  • It really is a small world after all. I've married people from all over the globe: Albania, Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cameroon, Canada, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, England, Eritrea, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Guyana, Honduras, Hungary, India, Kenya, Mexico, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Sierra Leone, Sweden, Turkey and Vietnam.
  • Most popular names for brides and grooms:
    • 2011 brides: Jennifer, Laura, Lauren and Tara (3 each).
    • 2011 grooms: Daniel (6), Michael, David and Joseph (4 each).
    • 2010 brides: Dana, Heather, Kelly and Kimberly (3 each).
    • 2010 grooms: Michael (5), John (4), David, Joseph and Thomas (3 each).
    • 2009 brides: Andrea, Claire, Jessica, Kelly and Nikki (3 each).
    • 2009 grooms: Robert (5), Jason and Michael (4 each).
  • Ricky and Lucy were the names of the goldfish in the Unity Fishes Ceremony I performed in the gazebo at the The Breakers On The Ocean in Spring Lake.
  • Double-take! In 2009/2010 6 grooms had twin brothers and 4 brides had twin sisters. Fortunately, none of them pulled any pranks on me.
  • Over the past few years, 12 of my brides were already pregnant when I performed their ceremony.
  • Couples are really mixing up their bridal parties. One bride had her brother as her Man-of-Honor. Grooms have had close girl "friends" as their Best Women and brides have had guys as Bridesmen. Another bride had the groom's mother as her Matron-of-Honor. Many of my 2nd marriage couples have their children from previous marriages as their bridal parties. Brides have been given away by their mothers, fathers, sons, brothers, uncles, grandfathers, friends and others.
